The desktops on demand™ + escritorios a la carta™ (beta) service is currently a project under construction which is not expected to launch until Q4 of 2009.

desktops on demand (and escritorios a la carta) is the provision of desktop virtualization using automated methods designed for use by novice users, allowing them to deploy fully functional desktops, quite literally, on demand.

In January 2008, tuCloud began the process of applying to trademark the term "desktops on demand" and "escritorios a la carta" in the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom of Great britain and Northern Ireland however, no final determination as to the registrability of the mark has been made.
